Thank you for this summary so I don't need to read the long publication. This is a really great article. What stood out to me was the correlation between microbial dysbiosis and ME/CFS. I am not a medical professional, but it has often been stated that the basis for our immunity starts in our gut. I have personal experience with both gut dysbiosis and CFS. I had ulcerative colitis for 10 years (2007 - 2017) which came with CFS and by using natural healing methods, the UC has gone into remission. However, if I get a stomach bug, it tends to take a long time to get my gut flora back to baseline and I have some minor symptoms of dysbiosis, longer than other people would. To me, it seems like the gut dysbiosis is the place to start and see if it corrects the chemical imbalances in the brain and helps with the ME/CFS.
