Thanks for bringing up Limerance. I have never heard of it and it make sense. I appreciate and enjoyed this article. One perspective is that we are all one "mind" or consciousness and everything is energy. When we think in terms of energy, we resonate with certain other energies (people/things) and because the Universe (us!) is intelligent, our vibration is attracting exactly what we need. When the "lesson" is learned, it is pure choice to continue with that person/energy/thing or not. I had an experience of deep recognition with another soul and then it took me 6 months to "detach" from making it something it was not. I used to believe in twin flames, but now I feel it is more of a vibrational quality because the twin flame thing often becomes obsessive and "attached". True love can let everything pass through and let it go. There is no "possession" or obsession of the person/thing when it is pure love...and we are all made of pure Love. It is simply when one Love (Self) recognized the other as Love (Self) without obsession and attachment that a Divine Union is created. It does not need to be with "the one" person, from my perspective. It could be any two who are ready to express and recognize what they truly are, Love.
